Manga: Akumetsu 123
Haha I fail, made this post awhile ago and didn’t realize I never actually posted it X_X.
Short post to break my long absence ^_^. The spotlight is on a manga I believe isn’t out there enough called Akumetsu. At first I thought it was be the generic bad government->rally for revolution/chance-> obstacles->revolution/change win or government is not so bad after all. Instead we have one person stand up and take on a villains role to reform the government by assassinating those who are too far gone in their corruption. Perhaps that is part of why I like Tales of Vesperia, people will do the dirty work if no one else will even if its needed. Although in this manga it gets pretty extreme.

I really find it fascinating at how deep this story can become since most people can relate to it about their own lack faith in the government when we hear news of scandals, bribing, and how far the gap is between powerful figures and common people. Akumetsu himself is not seen as a hero by all and opinions go back and forth depending on how extreme his actions and his justification for going after the people he does. Despite his behavior in public however, he is actually very logical and patient with his methods such as giving everyone a chance to redeem themselves although they often blow this chance( old habits apparently reaallyyyy die hard)
In this chapter, we see that the many Akumetsus will no longer be seen as human an are allowed to be shot down, however, they are wanted alive since they are all apparently clones of each other. As police attempt to hunt down Akumetsu in the public welfare area, he reveals that he had lied and was really on a music stage outside of hibiya park.

What measure is a human?
As the public sees more and more evidence of the corruption and depravity their leaders have, support for Akumetsu grows and the government loses control.
